How to repair database from references to old transcoded files after disabling transcoding so that files can be manually removed if automatic cleaning during transcoder job (all) is not working correctly? #27126

Hello team, According to documentation: "The transcoded version of an asset can be deleted by setting a transcode policy that makes it unnecessary and then running a transcoding job for that asset." I have disabled transcoding video permanently (do not transcode) but after running transcoder job (all) it removed very few transcoded videos (just 1GB out of 35GB). Directory size before running All task was 35G. root@server:/mnt/disk/docker/immich/encoded-video# du -sh 26be6059-9796-4b19-9c07-1da5c3a4cc66/ I have also used option "Refresh encoded videos" for particular asset (video) but result was the same. Therefore there does not seem to be any effective way to free up disk from encoded videos which are no longer needed. I'm looking for a command that will repair database from old transcoded files so they can be removed safely? I was also thinking about removing files manually and than forcing encoding them once again (using fastest method) - so that hopefully it will allow to automatically delete all files once transcoding is disabled permanently? Thanks in advance |
